Our mission is to tell the story of the Coeur d’ Alene Mining District in regards to our local history, local mining efforts and the area’s unique heritage. We accomplish this through our repository of the area’s written, graphical, and three-dimensional objects and documents and a committed staff. Support research efforts.  We preserve and protect the museum collection and we provide cultural tourism visitor center services.
